Adventures / Retreats
The adventures and retreats are an excellent chance for you to develop or strengthen your cord of three (Ecclesiastes 4:9-12). If you have been blessed with brothers/sisters and can embark on these events together we feel it will enhance your experience.
If you have friends that may not be in your 'inner circle', feel free to tell them about the event - it may be the opportunity you need to see if your relationship can develop the trust needed for a friend to move into that closer space. Or, maybe you will have the blessing of finding a brother/sister while participating in the event. Regardless, our desire is that by the time you have completed your first adventure/retreat that you are equipped with at least the beginnings of a cord of three.
Men's Adventure
Includes materials such as the Wild at Heart Field Manual
Typically either 4-days / 3-nights or 5-days / 5-nights
Hosted as a tent camp out, cabin retreat, or Flowing Rivers canoe trip
Activities include but are not limited to: rock climbing, canoeing, hiking, fishing, swimming, alone time, camp fires, daily study sessions, small group discussion opportunities
Price for the adventure depends on the location and activities offered
Included in the cost is cabin or tent, cots, food, adventure equipment, study materials
Personal hygiene kit, clothes, sheet/sleeping bag, pillow, and washable travel drink container is the responsibility of each traveler to bring
Payment is made by personal check to Treasure Sentinels
Anyone receiving sponsorship to pay for their adventure and any communication with the leadership team should be directed via email to MensAdventure@TreasureSentinels.org
women's retreat
Includes materials such as the Captivating Field Manual
Typically either 4-days / 3-nights
Hosted as a cabin retreat (tenting is an individual option)
Activities include but are not limited to: canoeing, hiking, fishing, swimming, alone time, creative time, fire place, daily study sessions, small group discussion opportunities
Price for the adventure depends on the location and activities offered
Included in the cost is cabin, cots, food, adventure equipment, study materials, some art supplies will be included (details will be in the trip flyer)
Personal hygiene kit, clothes, sheet/sleeping bag, pillow, and washable travel drink container is the responsibility of each traveler to bring (as well as tent if desired)
Payment is made by personal check to Treasure Sentinels
